Rotary Park
This recent addition to a growing area of Wenatchee on the corner of Western Ave and Maple St was a project funded by a combination of the Wenatchee Rotary Clubs, the City of Wenatchee, Washington state and a grant from the Interagency for Outdoor Recreation. The park provides a beautiful area for residents to walk pets or just enjoy the weather. The most notable feature of the park is the full nine hole Disk Golf course that has already inspired a local club and created many casual Frisbee fans. Munson Engineers surveyed the site and designed the park utilities including the roads, parking lots and sidewalks that serve the area for this project. It also planned the layout of the park amenities, site contours, and power services, and designed remediation for contaminated soil in the area. Munson also designed the McGuire Subdivision which lies just to the west of the park and a short plat to the immediate north.
