East Wenatchee Fred Meyer
Added in 2000, East Wenatchee’s Fred Meyer branch creates quite an impression on the Riverfront of the Columbia. Part it’s impact is the innovative orientation of the building which faces the water front, not the street. The 40 feet high retaining wall was created to allow riverfront habitat and also allow required parking, it was designed by Munson Engineers, Inc. Munson Engineers created plans for the water, storm drain, sewage, power, lighting, and parking, plus the adjacent street extension of Grant Road and the street end city park.
McDonald's - Wenatchee
Completed in 2003, the McDonalds located in Wenatchee is a recent example of commercial developments completed by Munson Engineers, Inc. Responsibilities for this project included surveying, site design and ensuring ADA compliance, and utility design including the storm drains, sanitary sewer system and water distribution. Due to the easy accessibility, the Wenatchee McDonalds has seen the largest volume for a restaurant of its size.
First Presbyterian Church
Site design and surveying. As part of a design team which included DOH Architects of Wenatchee and James Cutler and Associates, Munson Engineers did the site surveying, design and engineering for Wenatchee's largest private building project of 1999, the new Wenatchee First Presbyterian Church at the corner of Miller and Crawford.
Wenatchee Event Center
The Wenatchee Event Center will soon begin construction in the riverfront area of Wenatchee. It is funded by a combination of public and private sources. Munson Engineers, Inc. is engaged to control the survey layout and construction staking for the 5000 seat arena.
Heritage Glen - East Wenatchee
Heritage Glen is a housing development for permanent resident agriculture workers located in East Wenatchee that was completed in 2002. The 35-unit development has two-, three-, and four-bedroom units. Eighteen (18) of the units are reserved for seasonal-occupancy and seventeen (17) units have occupancy reserved for year-round farm worker households. This affordable housing project was a joint effort between the Housing Authority of Chelan County, City of Wenatchee and architects at The DOH Associates. Munson Engineers, Inc. was responsible for survey, and site and utility design.
